This was a project done for Pixar's Toy Story 2. It used a technique known as HyperKirk, developed by Kirk Christian, where double passes of cyan, magenta and yellow are added to the existing inks, greatly increasing the saturation of the print. Working under the guidance of Kirk, I built these two files. One, a typical CMYK file, the other, cyan, magenta and yellow touch plates, sharing the same screen angles as the first file, but confined to areas of solid ink to prevent screen interference.
